Sunday Drive

Sunday afternoon we went for a Sunday drive. We drove up AF canyon. We wanted to see how much snow was left. We went to Cabelas and had lunch & got their really yummy fudge on a two year old gift card from christmas. Thanks Jennie and JC. Then on the way home we cut through AF and stopped at castle park. The kids love that place. What a good day.

WOW JENNA IS TURNING 11

We went to Brick Oven for Jenna's birthday dinner. WE love the OVEN!

Jenna sure is turning into one BEAUTIFUL girl. But I'm partial. The cute hat she is wearing was made by her Aunt Mandi. I'm not sure she has taken it off since she got it.

Brady and Jenna. Couldn't get Brady to pose at all. So he'll only be in the back ground.

Jenna and myself ( Kate )

Brookelynn digging in.

They told Jenna the only way her dessert was free is if she stood on the bench while they sang to her. And no way was I paying for that dessert.

Every last bite. OOoohhh good stuff.

THIS MESSAGE IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE COLOR GREEN JENNA'S FAVORITE COLOR.
GIRLS NIGHT

I was able to go to my friend Angie's house and join my other friends Rachele and Tiffani ( All friends from High School ) for a girls night. We had a Cafe Rio' salad bar. Rachele got all the recipes, I really couldn't tell the difference. Sooooo Yummy. I also brought Brookelynn along because she has never had the chance to play with Angie's girls Aubrey and Bethany. They had a really good time and stayed up as late as us.

The best girl friends you could want. Tiffani, Rachele, Me and Angie.

Brookelynn singing high school musical for us. Arm movements and all.

Aubrey, Bethany and Brookelynn playing in their huge toy room. ( I'm very Jealous )

This is the best I could get them to pose and that was only after I talked them into dressing up. Your girls are stinking cute Angie.

So Brookelynn decided to go down the slide with Brady's sharp walking stick in her hands. So when she reached the bottom it hit the ground and ripped the crap out of her neck. I'm really shaken at the thought that she could have been impaled in the neck or stomach.

It will leave a cool scar we will tell everyone she was saving a baby cougar.

They're here......So if you live in Springville you know the whole town is under construction. Well they have made it to my house which has made it hard for everyone else to get here and since I do daycare it has been a pain. I'm glad all the parents are understanding. And the kids sure do like to watch the big tractors.

So don't ride your rip stick in the house with no shoes on.

I though it would be a good idea to learn to ride the kids ripstick for a good core exercise. But while teaching myself to turn corners I pinched my toes between the board and the cupboard and sliced my toe open. Yes this is after it has had a day to heal and no my toes are not dirty it is the sticky sports tape I yanked off. Yes I'm in desperate need of a pedicure gift cards are welcome. Wow I have ugly feet!!!!

Morning of Brady's 9th birthday. It is tradition to make a favorite breakfast for the kids birthday. Brady's favorite is toast and cream of wheat.

Maybe not such a goofy grin next time K bud.

Brooke and Jenna made birthday cards and put a present in with it. He got a bracelet from Brooke and a Book marker from Jenna. What thoughtful sisters. They did it on their own.

Sunday dinner at Aunt Mandi's. Grandma and Grandpa Alvey gave Brady a basket ball and Soccer ball for his birthday.

For Brady's SK8 party we invited his friends and asked them to bring their Skateboards, Scooters or Rip sticks. Then we played games like follow the leader & tag with sling shot monkeys I found at Funfinitiy.

Brady what a stud.

But most of all the boys liked playing pain on the PS3 in the theater room. It was a good time for all. I love that my kids are getting older they sure are fun to hang out with. I'm proud to say that they have really great and funny friends.
