CHRISTMAS DAY @ GRANDMA AND GRANDPA ALVEY'S

On Christmas day we gather at Zach's mom's for a Christmas dinner and gift exchange. The family bought Debbie and Gary some desperately needed blinds. They have been going with out since they built.

Kyle being Kyle.

Jared and Valerie. They drove out from St. George after their kids opened presents. I glad they could make it.

Jenna got money to buy a Seven Peaks pass and a book light from Grandma and Grandpa.

Brookelynn got a Leapster2 and a Zhu Zhu pet. From Grandma and Grandapa. And some games from me.

Brady got a couple of sets of Star Wars LEGOS.

AND EUREKA I GOT A EUREKA. A very need vacuum for those of you who know me I'm an obsessive vacuumer and my vacuum has been very non sucky latley. Debbie and Gary took pitty on me and made my Christmas.
CHRISTMAS MORNING

This year for Christmas morning we were joined by Grandma and Grandpa Alvey & Mandi and her new BO Jason. For the opening of presents. Then afterward we had a BIG breakfast of french toast, bacon, hash-browns, & breakfast casserole.

Although we waited until the last minuet to start shopping, we were still able to get everything on there list.

Jenna got some pretty jewelry in her stocking.

Brady got the rip stick he wanted thanks to my friend Venessa over shopping at the day after Thanksgiving sales last year, and forgetting it was in her basement until this year.

Brooke got a lite brite. I loved mine as a kid.

Brady also got the new I-pod Nano. Now I can record him trowing his fits with it.

Brooke has a little obsession with snow globes and all things sparkly. So this year she got 3 snow globes and a glitter ball.

Jenna also got the I-pod nano she wanted. I don't think she has talked to me since, she is in another world.

The kids also got loads of family games. I never want to hear they are board again.

Grandpa was up a little too early.

Grandma starting the oven for breakfast.

I would say the four sided lite brite was a big hit. I love that they gave steroids to all the toys we had as kids.

CHRISTMAS EVE

On our way to see the festival of lights in Spanish Fork.

Once we got there we joined up with Malea and Paul and their kids. And the kids jumped in the back of their truck.

Above Makiha, Brooke, Jenna, Blake & Brady.

Christmas tradition. Opening one present on christmas eve. They got really really soft blankets.

Christmas eve they all wanted to sleep together. So we got an old mattress out of storage and threw it in the toy room for them to sleep on.

The Alvey Christmas party just wasn't the same without grandpa Ted and grandma Pat. But It was still fun for those of you who made it through the snow. And we missed all of you who were sick.

We played the Wii. We even got a little competitive on the ski jumping and soccer. And for those who wanted to chill we had Mickey's Christmas Carol playing in the theater room. Lots of pizza and treats it was fun for all.

Oh to be little again. The first snow is always so fun. And Brookelynn stayed out almost until frostbite set in. (not really) And then to come in to hot cocoa. And to lay under the christmas tree and look at the lights. I love the christmas season.

Thanksgiving

I think I did a little Halloween overload and it made me forget my camera for Thanksgiving. So here are the pictures I managed to get but I forgot to bring it out later. Oh Probably because I was dealing with a sick kid. We won't name any names (Jenna) Hopefully she won't be scared from pumpkin pie for life.
